Project: Signage for second location.
Target Audience: Customers who travel by vehicle or foot.
Concept: A sign easily read and seen by passing cars and pedestrians.
Design Issues: Readability and legability at various distances and from competing businesses. Incorporating existing logo into a brand update. Signage had to be ready
for the grand opening. The designer and printer had to work quickly together to achieve the deadline.
Design Process: Use of mock-ups to confirm distance and visability. Colaborated with client on corporate colours. Concerns regarding future UV damage were addressed. Worked effectively with printer to complete project for the grand opening.
Outcome: Completed on time. Easily read at various distances. Visually stands out among competing businesses. Incorporates original brand logo. Business is thriving, a third location has opened in 2013. The sign has survied under all weather conditions and the client continues to be happy with the end result.
